younity - Home Media Server app good for

Recently, it wasnt working correctly, with a lot of bugs and the videos didnt open... But, in the last update these problems was solved. I recommends this app of course

Great app. I use this to stream movies from my Mac to my iPhone and iPad as well as use it to view and edit files. My one issue with this recent update is that it no longer allows videos to play over a Bluetooth speaker and view the video at the same time. The window "now viewable on your tv" shows up on the iPad when connected to a Bluetooth speaker.

Great app but would be amazing if it had ability to cast to something other than Bluetooth.

Works well, easy to figure out and they helped me out when had a problem.

I am testing out this app as a replacement for Air Video HD. Mostly i like it better. Here are the positives and negatives ive found so far: + Handles all media/files/documents, not just video + Pretty flawless automatic network configuration for remote connection, although it requires account registration + good file sorting/filtering options - lacking some media playback features such as a 30-second skip forwards/back, scrubbing thumbnails. - when scrubbing a video its a little sluggish to resume playing - when sorting by date, folders dont get sorted, just pushed to the bottom of the list. - definitely more expensive that Air Video, but it might still be worth it.

Can you add the possibility [play/pause/resume] videos Witch headphone volume control ? Very useful Especially for videos witch subtitles..

Some bad moments

The loading subtitle button disapeared. Its impossible to watch videos now. Please fix this bug!

Does not use QuickTime player and when playing a video through hdmi you cant turn off your screens display, half the time the video fails to play

I downloaded to replace my plex media server that I currently use stream media, but unfortunately this cannot able to access my files from NAS. So until it gets fixed, no go for me.

V 1.12.4 was almost ok: good idea, better intentions, poor desktop side - but free. Current 1.13 not only has NO improvements, but asks for a >2€ MONTHLY fee/ransom to operate from a non-home network. = TOTALLY USELESS - and sadly DISAPPOINTING SUCH A SHAME

This app WAS cool because it was free. I said WAS because after the last update (that BTW I didnt do) if yoi want to use the app you have to pay for it. But hey! You can still just watch the files in your computer on your phone. And only if you are at home under the same wifi. Sooo cool! Great job! Apple should remove this app as soon as possible. Its a fraud.

I went to open the app as I want to watch movies offline on my trip in s few weeks...but instead the app wont open. It shows a quick flash and is gone.
